why hydronic heating?
Simply put: hydronic heating is an alternative type of central heating system for your home or office, but much more efficient than traditional ducted systems
It utilises a gas boiler, or heat pump, to produce hot water which is then circulated using a pump, through a piping system, to radiator panels (see photo), underfloor heating pipes in concrete or trench convectors cut out in the floor with grilles
The heat produced is the best type available: radiant / convected heat - no fans!

how can we help you?
Example no.1: "I love hydronic heating but don't know if it's possible to install it into my existing home?"
Solution: "Most/all homes can be retrofitted. We can guide you through the maze of hydronics, answer all your queries; and give you a clear outline on all of your options and pricing".
Example no.2 : "We are looking to build in the next year or so :- Can you help us design a taylor-made system, based on our individual needs?".
Solution: "Not a problem! We can take you through the step by step process, from design to completion, and advise and quote you on the most suitable systems available, based on your own personal needs and the property that you're building. This works for renovation projects also".
Example no.3 : "My existing boiler has broken down and is too old. I want to upgrade to a new heat pump :- Can you help?".
Solution: "We certainly can! Most/all systems can be upgraded, especially if you have existing underfloor heating systems in place. With panels, they may need to be upgraded as well, but please enquire within and we will be able to advise and quote for you, no problem!".
Example no.4 : "We've just moved into a new house with hydronic heating - Not sure how to use it. Might need a service too:- Can you help?".
Solution: "Absolutely! This is quite a common question we get asked from our clients and is more common than you might think. We can help you get to know the system, advise on how it works - Panels or U.F.H. (Underfloor Heating), or both. Also, how to control/use the thermostat. We can also advise on the last time it was serviced and whether anything needs some immediate attention or can hold off till later on".
Example no.5 : "Aaggghh!! My existing boiler has just broken down. Can you repair it?".
Solution: "Oh yes we can! No probs :) Most/all boiler manufacturers have spare parts, up until a certain age bracket (15-20 years mostly) and then we will advise if we can get reconditioned parts or not, or advise on a replacment. We can also repair hydronic heat pumps also (except the refrigeration side of it)."
Example no.6 : "As well as hydronic heating, we are looking to upgrade our hot water system and want to know all our options and pricing. Can you help?".
Solution: "At AquaHeat we are fully trained and experienced with all types of hot water systems too, and can help advise you on a new heat pump, instantaneous type, electric or gas storage unit depending on your individual needs and budget".
Example no.7 : "My existing boiler has broken down and has old technology. I want to upgrade to a new high efficiency gas boiler:- Can you help?".
Solution: "Not a problem! This is a very common part of our business: Boiler Upgrades/Swapovers. We also carry out a full flush of the system and usually advise/quote to fit a MagnaClean Filter that also extends the warranty period to 5 years - A no brainer!!!".
our benefit to you...
continuity
We are there for you 100% from design to completion. Unlike some other firms where there may be different plumbers/technicians at different stages: we offer continuity - You'll get me (Nick) all the way. This is essential for communication from start to finish.
transparent pricing
We always start our quotes using our supplier's initial costings for the hardwares side. We pride ourselves on being competetive and also itemising every single aspect of the job for you. So you'll be able to see everything you'll be paying for, and also compare against other firms' pricing, to make sure it's a fair comparison.
experience
There's not many hydronic heating companies out there who can boast that they've got a quarter of a century's (25 Years') worth of expericence behind them! Add to that working in 2 different countries: The UK and Australia, and that should give you a lot of confidence to use us!
don't just take our word for it!

AquaHeat was recommended by my usual plumber for their expertise in hydronic heating systems. Nick provided an excellent, cost effective service and repair job that avoided an expensive replacement of our external boiler. Great communication throughout, he gave transparent pricing for new boiler parts and followed up later to ensure the issue remained resolved. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Erin Elmes - April' 22
★★★★★
Nick is an absolute legend and we would recommend him to anyone looking for high quality heating for a home or office. Nick is methodical, hard working and extremely experienced (being dual qualified here & UK). His workmanship is second to none - no ugly fit-outs or shortcuts! Despite this he charged over $3.5k LESS than another company. He really cares about his clients which is demonstrated in his communication throughout the job and a checkin afterwards. We had a nightmare job and he handled it with ease & professionalism. Many thanks Nick.

★★★★★
Nick has installed 2 hydronic heating systems for us in the past 4 years - with outstanding results. Nick IS passionate about what he does, and given his upbringing in the UK, his knowledge is lifelong. His attention to detail, knowledge of the system, workmanship and his ability to rise to the challenge of awkward installations is a credit to him. I would not trust this work to anybody else.

features...
running costs
While the upfront cost may be a bit more, hydronic heating system will cost around 20 percent less to operate than a ducted system in a house with average ceiling heights. The larger the homes and higher the ceilings the more the savings.
efficiency
Hydronic systems can be up to 70 percent more efficient than other methods, like electricity-dependent systems. That’s, in large part, because water conducts heat better than air. The systems are also sealed, resulting in lower emissions.
cleaner and healthier
Hydronic heating provides warmth using natural convection and radiation, eliminating drafts or hot spots. It’s also powered by water and natural gas and is dust/allergen free. For these reasons, it’s preferred by medical facilities and homeowners with allergies.
